People often do that to find an obscure item and if its at a good price, they want it before anyone else can get it and won't bother haggling. This was a discontinued item that he went on a secondhand site to find. It got delivered, I got rated, I got paid, the kid followed my shop after that I still remain his only purchase. I went ahead and shipped it, had a bleeding ulcer about it for days. They said they moved out of their mom's last year and didn't update their address, that they would drive the 2 hours to their mom's to get it. I slept on it and the next day asked them why I'd be sending it to an address they obviously no longer live at.
They said nevermind, go ahead and ship it to the address on file.
I told them no, to request a cancel, change the address and then I'll ship it. Sold my son's $300 Oculus to someone like that with no haggle no profile pic no signs of life and immediately they messaged me asking if I can send to a different address.
